Jonathan Harker, a young English solicitor, travels deep into the Carpathian Mountains to complete a real estate transaction for the mysterious Count Dracula. As he leaves civilization behind, the locals react with fear, offering warnings and gifts of protection against the darkness that awaits him.
Ignoring their superstitions, Jonathan continues his journey through remote villages and haunted mountain passes until a mysterious black carriage arrives under cover of night. Driven by a silent stranger, the coach races through the wilderness toward Castle Dracula, where strange sights and unsettling events suggest that supernatural forces are at work.
As the castle finally comes into view, Jonathan arrives at the threshold of an ancient fortress unlike anything he has ever imagined. His business trip has ended, but his nightmare is only beginning.
